I've strayed from the internet much so i haven't updated in awhile. I got my bonnaroo
ticket in the mail today. i can't wait. I'll be home from July
3rd - 10th which i also can't wait for. short entry. short life.

my jeep broke 100,000 miles yesterday, got a new clutch and rebuilt tranmission. that hurt my pocket, but now that it's fixed i need to re introduce it to some mud and trails. my spring break was alright.. pretty chill. i went to the beach a couple of times. those were probably the highlights of the week.

i'm in a rather good mood today... specially for having to get up at 5am. i think it is a compination of a few things. 1) i reformatted my hard drive and cleaned out my computer and she runs better than ever. it's been giving me much grief lately so i'm glad it has been taken care of. 2) got a sweet stereo system finally all up and working today. loud music = good music. 3) it feels like summer. today the temperature is in the 80's. i'm in the mood to enjoy a drink and a smoke with some people, and chill on the balconey for hours with sublime on the system. ahh

today i went to universal and met with my aunt and cousin. we rode some rides and hung out. it was good to see familiar faces. next week's schedule is going to be hell, but that is quite alright for the following week is freedom. for one week i don't have to do a damn thing if i don't want to, or whatever i want for that matter. i am highly looking forward to this. i'm hoping to get away for a few days, but i'm not sure where to.

so far this has been a pretty sweet weekend. the weather was perfect today and i saw medeski martin and wood at the house of blues and it was probably one of the best shows i've ever seen. time for sleep. peace

i've been hearing showbread played back in PA. i wish i could have been there.
we talked a little more about bonaroo while watching monterey pop... it all depends on classes weather we can make the trip or not. so many awesome artists will be there. i sure hope it goes down.
morning depression is such a drag. most mornings when i awake i feel so crappy and depressed. towards the later hours or sometimes even minutes later i feel better, but the fact of waking up and feeling the way i do sucks.
i still dwell on the suicide of dr. hunter s thompson, and it still brings me down.
tomorrow there is a grand opening of a guitar center on orange blossom trail. it opens at 7pm with kick ass sales. i will be there after my final. i fear i may spend some nice cash which i shouldn't.
they'll stone you when you're playing your guitar... they'll stone you when you're all alone... everybody must get stoned.

i'm sadden. hunter s thompson is dead at 67. i have recently been getting more into his writings.. this is a real tragedy. i doubt they will erect the double-thumbed statue. where he wanted his ashes shot out like a canon to fall over the cliffs that lye on the edge of his property. that would be a funeral for the books for sure. rest in peace

i got piebald - we are the only friends we have, air - everybody hertz, and cub country all brand new for $18. there is a music store close by going out of business. everything is half off. i was pretty pumped. i may have to check back and pick up a few more.

my neck feels sore today. i think im suffering from some whiplash from being hit yesterday. i got rear ended pretty damn hard. my jeeps a bad ass though and only sustained minor injuries. two dents in the bumper and some rips in the tire cover. the lady's passport that hit me was well messed up though. fluids spilt all over semoran blvd. since i was hit pretty forcefully that caused me to hit the person in front of me. they only got a cracked bumper out of the deal. if i get a nice check i may just keep the money and not get it fixed. yeah.
last night was a flock of seagulls at my school... for free. it was awesome.. wasn't the original band though. it was mike score and some other dudes. though i was doubting them towards the middle of their set with a new version of 'i ran' and a few other new songs that all pretty much sucked, but once they jumped back to the 80's it was awesome. there was also a Q & A with them after the show that was sweet and pretty funny, specially the bass player. someone who missed the show because they were in class ask them to play 'i ran' again during the questions. so after the Q & A, with only about half the crowd remaining, they played 'i ran' again. everyone rushed the stage and it was an awesome way to end it all. they played 'i ran' three times total. haha the original twice and the new one once. overall, good stuff.

its a crappy day outside for the first day in a long time.
lately ive been only sleeping pretty much every other day.. i dont think i can keep going on like that so i shall try and sleep tonight. if im not asleep by 1am then im staying up. i have a lab at 5am and a few short hours will make me dazed and tired so id rather just stay up to get through lab.
a weird occurance: the other morning i woke up on my own and the usual thing for me to do is check the time. well instead of doing that i just looked at me blinded window and made a guess of 10:36. so i turned to the clock... and you guessed it, 10:36.

back in florida with some awesome weather. top down, chrome spinnin. its good to be back in the apartment. its classy, pimpin, and nice.. feels as if i haven’t been here in forever, i missed it. if you walked up the steps from our foyer you'd think pharrell williams lived hurr.. that’s the kinda class we got going here. last nights sleep was awesome, i missed my big bed. but now i miss my parents living room.. awesome place to chill and watch movies.
break was good and here we are now in 2005. i saw many awesome people and had a good time, but sadly i don’t think ill be returning to johnstown till july. i'm hoping people are serious about coming down here during spring break.
it is crazy to think about how much can happen in a year and everything that i experienced in '04. i wish i still had some of those times with me today. i have so many great memories of the winter and summer in particular. but people change, places change, people move. good luck to all, live it up. here’s to '05. cheers.
